Data the connector uses

  • Searches: destination, dates, and guest count — used only to return availability and rates.
  • No personal information is collected in the conversation to make a booking. Guest details are provided on the secure checkout page when you complete a reservation.
  • Looking up an existing reservation requires identity verification in the chat, used only to confirm the reservation belongs to you.
  • 1Stay does not access your files, conversation history, or any data beyond what you provide for a search.

Guest details & payment

Guest details and payment are entered together on a secure hosted checkout page — nothing personal is typed into the chat, and none of it is handled by Claude or the conversation.

Protections on sensitive actions

  • Booking retrieval requires guest identity verification before any reservation details are returned.
  • Cancellations leave the conversation: the connector returns the hotel's policy and a secure 1Stay page where the guest explicitly confirms. The connector does not estimate a refund, credit, penalty, or hotel charge.
  • Lookup requests are rate-limited to prevent enumeration or abuse.
  • Confirmation emails are sent only to the address already on the reservation.

Access model

The connector reads hotel availability and creates secure handoffs for checkout and cancellation. Guest identity, payment, and final cancellation confirmation happen only on first-party 1Stay pages, not in the Claude conversation.
