FAQ
What travelers should know.
Is the reservation completed inside ChatGPT?
No. Hotel search, comparison and selection happen in the conversation. You then follow a secure 1Stay link to review final pricing and policies, enter guest and payment details, and complete the reservation. ChatGPT does not process your payment.
Does the guest pay 1Stay for the hotel room?
No. The hotel charges the guest for the stay according to the selected rate’s terms. Any applicable 1Stay service fee is itemized and included in the displayed total.
Will the reservation earn hotel loyalty points?
1Stay identifies loyalty-eligible rates. Eligibility ultimately depends on the hotel brand, the traveler’s membership status and the terms of the selected rate.
What happens if the rate changes?
1Stay does not silently substitute a changed price. The traveler is shown the current rate and must review it before proceeding.
Can I book more than one room?
Not in the first release. Each search, checkout and reservation is limited to exactly one room.
Can ChatGPT cancel my reservation?
ChatGPT can help you find the reservation, show the hotel’s cancellation policy and send you to a secure 1Stay page, where you review and confirm the cancellation request. Cancellation is subject to the reservation’s cancellation terms and confirmation by the hotel; it is not completed in the conversation, and ChatGPT does not estimate what the hotel may charge.
What if I cannot find my confirmation number?
Ask 1Stay to resend the confirmation using the full guest name and email address. The response does not reveal whether a reservation matched, and any email is sent only to the address already on file.
Who operates 1Stay?
1Stay is published by Stayker and operated by WPF Holdings, LLC d/b/a Stayker. The Stayker reservation platform launched in 2019 and is backed by decades of hospitality and travel-technology experience.
How is traveler data handled?
Hotel searches do not require personal information. Guest and payment details are collected only on secure first-party pages. Verified reservation-support requests use only the information needed for the requested action. See Stayker’s privacy and MCP data-processing policies for details.

1Stay has been submitted to the ChatGPT app directory but is not approved yet, so there is no one-click install to point you at. ChatGPT can still reach 1Stay today as a custom MCP connector in Developer mode — a web-app feature on paid plans, aimed at developers rather than a general traveler flow. The 1Stay connector for Claude is documented at 1stay.ai/claude.

Safety behavior
- The MCP tools do not accept guest identity or payment-card details when creating checkout.
- Reservation lookup requires the guest’s full name plus the hotel confirmation number, or card last four together with check-in date.

- Each search, checkout and reservation is limited to exactly one room in the first release.
