What travelers and reviewers should know.
Does the guest pay 1Stay for the hotel room?
No. The hotel charges the guest for the stay according to the selected rate’s terms. Any applicable 1Stay service fee is itemized and included in the displayed total.
Will the reservation earn hotel loyalty points?
1Stay identifies loyalty-eligible rates. Eligibility ultimately depends on the hotel brand, the traveler’s membership status and the terms of the selected rate.
Is the reservation completed inside ChatGPT?
No. Hotel search, comparison and selection are conversational. The traveler then follows a secure 1Stay link to review final pricing and policies, enter guest and payment details, and complete the reservation.
What happens if the rate changes?
1Stay does not silently substitute a changed price. The traveler is shown the current rate and must review it before proceeding.
Can I book more than one room?
Not in the first release. Each search, checkout and reservation is limited to exactly one room.
Can ChatGPT cancel my reservation?
ChatGPT can verify the reservation, show the hotel’s cancellation policy and provide a secure 1Stay handoff. The guest reviews and confirms on that first-party page. ChatGPT does not cancel in the conversation or estimate what the hotel may charge.
What if I cannot find my confirmation number?
Ask 1Stay to resend the confirmation using the full guest name and email address. The response does not reveal whether a reservation matched, and any email is sent only to the address already on file.

How is traveler data handled?
